1. Who Can Use BarterBai

3. What BarterBai Is

BarterBai is a peer-to-peer trading platform that allows users to list items and propose swaps with other users. We facilitate connections between traders — we are not a party to any trade and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any item listed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BarterBai to:

• List or trade illegal items or substances
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the platform
• Use the platform for any commercial resale or business purpose without our consent

5. Listings and Trades

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings
• All trades are between users — BarterBai is not responsible for trade disputes
• We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms
• Items must be legally owned by you and legal to trade in your jurisdiction

6. Content You Post

By posting photos, descriptions, or messages on BarterBai, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the app. You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@barterbai.com

8. Disclaimers

BarterBai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for any losses resulting from trades made through the platform, user conduct, or service downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarterBai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including losses from trades, data loss, or unauthorized account access.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
